In 1999 ZINGA was used to repair old hot-dipped structures at the Santa Rita 1000MW power plant and OHTL (OverHead Transmission Line) ranging from Santa Rita to Calaca (existing coalfired power plant).
A total of 1,500 kg of ZINGA was used on this project. This power plant is located at just over 1km from the sea shore. This means it is located in a high corrosive environment demanding an effective protection against rust.
