They are clad with hot dip galvanised sheeting which is original.
They are now Heritage listed and ZINGA has been chosen to preserve the structures while
maintaining the original appearance.
The coating contractor was HASLIN CONTRACTING and the project was delivered in March 2024.
System:
Surface preparation: 3,500 psi water blast, bristle blaster and abrasive grit cloth ZINGA spot prime repair areas to 50μm DFT followed by full coat 60 to 80 μm DFT (by brush/spray) The surface was water blasted with a minimum 3,500 psi to remove loose rust and contaminants, followed by spot repairs using Bristle Blasters and grit emery cloth on the rusty areas to provide a sound substrate. The total surface area of the four sheds was 687m²
