The Abadan and Shiraz Refineries are part of the IRAN NATIONAL OIL COMPANY. They have been constructed in the early 80’s. ZINGA was introduced to these complexes in 1993.
Initially the existing structures had
been painted or hot-dipped, therefore the main consumption of ZINGA was used for repairs and the covering of weld lines. In total
about 400 Kg of Zinga was consumed on many different parts and locations. ZINGA was applied at a layer thickness of approx. 80 µm as a unique system.
