Repair of galvanized areas – ZADCO (ADNOC) – U.A.E.
Location: Abu Dhabi islands, the Upper Zakum Oilfield
Located approximately 84km north-west of the Abu Dhabi islands, the Upper Zakum Oilfield has an estimated 50 billion barrels of oil reserves. The field produces 640,000 barrels of oil a per day (bpd).
Upper Zakum is the 4th largest oilfield in the world. It is owned by ADNOC Offshore (60%) which acts as the operator, ExxonMobil (28%) and the Japan Oil Development Company (Jodco-12%).
In 2015 the ZADCO (Zakum Development Company), today known as ADNOC Offshore
(Abu Dhabi National Oil Company), decided to use ZINGA as repair system of galvanized damaged areas (gratings, pipes, HVAC frames, …) for the Upper Zakum 750 Islands Surface Facilities Project EPC2 Project.
The EPC Contractors were PETROFAC and DSME (Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Eng.) and the sub-contractor was SPECIALIST SERVICES
