The 84 km New North Luzon Expressway is the main high speed artery that connects Metro Manila to Central and Northern Luzon. It has 433 lane kilometres and 26 exits. It has greatly shortened travel time besides contributing to the economy via new industries and new investments in the two regions.
Between May 2004 and November 2005 ZINGA was used to touch up damaged HDG (hot dip galvanisation) on highway guard rails, perimeter fences and light poles along this Expressway.
ZINGA was also used for the foundation bolts of the toll booths. The expressway was opened to traffic in February 2005 but Leighton (contractor) continued using ZINGA for rectifications and maintenance afterwards.
