EGAT, the Thai national electricity company, decided to use ZINGA to repair previously
galvanised high tension pylons.

The feet of 11 pylons in the south of Thailand have been protected with ZINGA to give them
complementary protection against the humid environment of the swampy area where they are placed.
ZINGA was also used on 15 high tension pylons in the region of Bangkok. The 8m high old previously galvanised towers and the respective base stations were repaired using ZINGA.Above ground 2 layers of each 50 µm DFT ZINGA were applied and below ground 1 layer of 40 µm DFT ZINGA was followed by 100 µm DFT ZINGATARFREE.
