On the 18th of December 2009, a test
application was done at I.C.E. (Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad). ICE decided to have a test application done on one of their high-tension pylons of their Carillo Blanco line.

They tested ZINGA (excellent corrosion
protection) without topcoat above ground and ZINGA + ZINGATARFREE (complementary
protection against chemicals) underground.
