The main activity of the company ROHR is the renting of structures used in the building industry (scaffolding, tubes, …). A test was done in June 1999, with iron structures that suffered from corrosion on places where small wheels frequently rubbed the metal surface. ZINGA was applied on 4 different scaffolds with a layer thickness of respectively 40, 60, 80 and 120 µm. In November 2000, after more than a year of intensive use, not a trace of rust was visible on the scaffolds.
