Originally built in 1919 just after WW1 – this historic piece of engineering was refurbished to mark 100th anniversary in 2019.
The turntable was used to turn the steam engine locomotives around beside the maintenance buildings. This turntable was so well designed, that one man could literally turn the locomotive around by simply pushing it!

In November 2018, the coating applicator TOTAL HIGHWAY DEVELOPMENTS refurbished it for the client IRISH RAILWAYS company who were very happy with the result.
